Founded in 1948, Cleenol is a fourth-generation, family-owned British manufacturer of cleaning and hygiene products. With over 75 years of experience, they supply the hospitality, healthcare, education, facilities management, and retail sectors, both across the UK and internationally. Cleenol combines manufacturing scale, product innovation, and sustainability credentials to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions and is committed to reducing emissions and plastic use while maintaining ISO-certified standards.


Novus Marketing Solutions’ Work with Cleenol

Our partnership with Cleenol has been wide-ranging, acting as an extension of their marketing team while helping deliver strategic, high-impact campaigns. One of the first major projects we undertook was a complete overhaul of their website. The new site was designed to be modern, responsive, and engaging, incorporating interactive elements created through 3D programs that brought Cleenol’s products, processes, and customer journey to life.


Beyond the website, we worked closely with the marketing team to develop internal capabilities, providing mentoring, training, and workflow support to improve digital marketing, campaign planning, and content creation. We also became deeply integrated with Cleenol’s operations, participating in planning sessions and providing on-demand strategic and creative support to align marketing with sales and operational priorities.


We produced high-quality content across multiple channels, including brand films, explainer videos, and case studies. Projects included animation-driven storytelling to showcase Cleenol’s manufacturing and R&D expertise, CEO-led films highlighting heritage and capability, and sector-specific thought leadership content.


Our work also extended to community engagement and sustainability initiatives, producing a two-minute impact video, social media content, and infographic visualisations to support Cleenol’s BCorp reporting and CSR communications.


For major events, like Interclean 2024, we designed and delivered the full exhibition stand concept, managed pre-event marketing campaigns, planned on-stand activities to maximise engagement, and captured photography, interviews, and social updates to amplify the brand’s presence during and after the show.


In addition, we developed sales enablement tools, including presentation decks, distributor toolkits, and targeted email campaigns, ensuring Cleenol’s sales and marketing efforts were aligned and effective.


Impact

Through our partnership, Cleenol has strengthened its digital presence, brand positioning, and marketing capability. The new website provides an interactive hub for customers, while the combination of strategic campaigns, content creation, and event delivery has enhanced engagement, promoted their sustainability leadership, and reinforced their reputation as a heritage manufacturer with global reach.
