Elm Foundation Brand Guidelines
The Elm Foundation is a domestic abuse charity based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. They required a fresh logo and updated brand guidelines as part of our ongoing marketing strategy work with them.
The rebrand was quite straightforward, as we were given lots of creative freedom from The Elm Foundation; they put their trust in us to deliver a great result.
The previous Elm Foundation logo was a little rough around the edges. It struggled to uphold cohesion across the entire brand. However, we felt, as did The Elm Foundation, that their current brand colours exuded the feeling and ethos of the brand identity; we therefore kept the colour scheme from their previous logo.
We worked to create a number of different logo options for The Elm Foundation and put forward a shortlist of the best ones for selection. We were keen to make sure the logos were flexible, and appropriate for every promotional environment. Once The Elm Foundation chose the logo they liked the best, we built an appropriate set of brand guidelines around this, to ensure that any further work undertaken by us or a third party would be consistent with the brand as a whole.
